"Let's take care of what we have, for now & the future..."
Steve and I are committed to reducing our environmental impact and working towards a more sustainable future.
We've included points from our sustainability policy below so you can see our progress:
- We will use zero plastic packaging, alongside reusing old packaging. Including boxes, tape and void fill
- 80% of raw materials are obtained locally from us in Scotland, using other businesses who share our values. Where possible we buy in larger quantities in order to reduce the number of deliveries
- Ingredients we use are vegan, without the use of any palm oil, SLS or parabens
- We buy only recycled paper from sustainable sources
- Our waste is kept to a minimum and recycled responsibly
- Our workshop is powered by solar energy from our home. Our one electrical appliance for manufacture is always used at capacity to reduce energy consumption. Lighting is provided by two LED lights and a small radiator which is active only in the winter to prevent labels peeling from our jars
- We try to schedule your parcel collections from the workshop with Royal Mail at the same time as receiving our personal post to reduce unnecessary mileage - shout out to our amazing postie! :-)
